With the extra day off from work thanks to the Bank Holiday and the weather warming up, it could be a good time to get the cocktail kit you got for Christmas out and serve up a few drinks. To help with inspiration, here are five beverages that not only taste good but impress as well...
Bombay Sapphire Citron Pressé and Tonic
- 50ml (5cl) Bombay Citron Pressé
- 100ml (10cl) premium tonic water (preferably Fever-Tree)
- Lemon wedge squeezed and dropped in (garnish)
Recipe: Build over cubed ice, stir. Garnish and serve.
- 50 ml Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum
- 25ml Lime juice
- 12 Mint leaves
- 2tsp Extra fine sugar
- 25ml Soda water
Recipe: Build over cubed ice in a highball. Mix in freshly awoken mint leaves.
- 9 oz St-Germain
- 12 oz Martini prosecco
- 12 oz Sparkling water
- Lemon peel for zesting
Recipe: Pour the St-Germain, sparkling wine and sparkling water into your vessel of choice. Give the drink a good stir to combine all of the ingredients. Pour over ice into your highball/spritz glass. Garnish with lemon zest.
- 50 ml Bacardi Caribbean Spiced
- 50 ml pineapple juiced
- 25 ml Coca Real
- 5 ml cinnamon syrup
- 2 pineapple leaves
- Coconut shavings
- A sprinkle of cinnamon to garnish
Recipe: Add the Bacardi Caribbean Spiced, pineapple juice, Coco Real and Cinnamon Syrup into a shaker. Shake vigorously. Strain over crushed ice. Garnish with pineapple leaves, coconut shavings and a sprinkle of cinnamon, then serve
Grey Goose Strawberry & Lemongrass
- 50ml Grey Goose Essences Strawberry & Lemongrass
- 150ml Soda Water
- Fresh Strawberries
- Lemongrass
- Lemon Twist
Recipe: Fill a chilled glass with cubed ice and add Grey Goose Essences Strawberry & Lemongrass. Top with soda water. Then simply garnish with lemongrass, fresh strawberry, and a lemon twist.
- 125ml Tails Rum Daiquiri
- Ice
Recipe: Pour 125ml of Tails Rum Daiquiri into a shaker filled with ice, shake well and strain into glass.
