Bangor supermarket site set for auction

A supermarket site in Bangor is set to go up for auction.

The freehold is available for the Farmfoods unit on Caernarfon Road in the city.

It is due to go to auction on October 23 in London with Allsop.

The 10,000 sq ft site has a guide price of £875,000-£900,000.

The unit is entirely let to Farmfoods until 2030 who currently pay a rent of £67,368 per annum with the next rent review in August 2020.

An Allsop spokesman said: "The site is in a prominent position fronting the A4087 and adjacent to McDonald's. It is also close to the Menai Retail Park."

This summer saw Bangor's Deiniol Shopping Centre sold at auction for £1,37m.
