"Between BAB" features work from 29 international and Thai artists who participated in three editions of BAB, namely BAB 2018 with the "Beyond Bliss" theme, 2020 with the "Escape Routes" theme and 2022 with the "Chaos: Calm" theme, all showcased under one roof. Think of it as a BAB compilation. As part of the BAB educational programme, the exhibition seeks to foster a deeper appreciation and comprehension of the arts within the community.
Out of 29 participating artists, 12 of them are Thai. They are Jarasporn Chumsri, Nakrob Moonmanas, Jakrawal Nilthumrong, Nawin Nuthong, Takerng Pattanopas, Maitree Siriboon, Vasan Sitthiket, Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch, Uninspired by Current Events, Kawita Vatanajyankur, Dow Wasiksiri and Pannaphan Yodmanee.
The exhibition opens between Wednesday and Sunday, from 11am-8pm, on the B2 floor of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, until the end of June. Meanwhile, check out some of their works at BAB Virtual Venue online via virtualvenue.bkkartbiennale.com. Visit bkkartbiennale.com.
