Bangkok governor Aswin Kwanmuang has signed an order allowing participants in meetings and banquets to drink alcoholic beverages until 11pm, further easing Covid-19 controls.
The order, signed on Monday,was aimed at allowing people to resume economic and social activities, alongside disease control measures, the announcement said. The city's communicable diseases committee approved it the same day.
It is effective from Tuesday and applies to meeting venues at hotels, exhibition centres, convention centres, department stores, shopping malls and other meeting and party venues.
