Saturday brought us double birds flying as the Ravens and Orioles played a home game on the same day for the first time in decades. According to local TV station WBAL, we haven’t had a Baltimore double since the late 1990s.
The Ravens kicked off at M&T Bank Stadium at noon, defeating the Atlanta Falcons with a 13-12 final score that sounded like the result of a Big Ten West division game.
Like earlier this week at Ravens training camp, several members of the Orioles were in attendance.
The @Orioles are in the house!
It’s a great day for Baltimore with both teams playing the same day. Thanks to the O’s for shifting today’s start time to 7:05 and good luck tonight! 💜🧡 pic.twitter.com/rIl4dTH4Ey

The O’s then commenced their regular season game against the division rival Boston Red Sox around 7. Unfortunately, they could not bring a clean sweep of victories in the Charm City double.
Here, Baltimore lost to Boston 5-1. Given how rare it is to see the two neighboring stadiums full on the same day, there was a ton of excitement.
Including this guy below. He was incredibly excited.
