Baltic Triangle 'about to be blessed' with arrival of new Latin food venue NOSO

A new food trader is set to "bless" the Baltic Market with its arrival this winter, offering "Latin food with a twist".

NOSO is a popular restaurant based on Longmoor Lane which has amassed a string of praise on TripAdvisor, and has even held the coveted number one spot. Owned by friends Jean D'Amico and Miguel Pereirais, who met here in Liverpool, the restaurant specialises in freshly prepared food, with a menu boasting breakfasts, small plates, empanadas, arepas and more.

Now, the team is expanding and joining the impressive array of traders at the eclectic Baltic Market. Taking to Instagram, Baltic Market confirmed NOSO’s imminent arrival with a detailed post informing its 122K followers what to expect from the brand.

Baltic Market penned: "NEW TRADER // NOSO - Latin food with a twist Noso are bringing HUGE flavours with arepas, empanadas, tequeños and even homemade Noso CHEESE!

"Miguel and Jean have been inspired by food from early age in Venezuela. Miguel's family have been producing incredible quality milk and fresh cheese since he was little and Jean who came from a family of farmers who moved out of Italy to Venezuela in the 50s.

"Miguel and Jean met in Liverpool, and became great friends, sharing their joy, passion and love for great food. This then turned itself into a desire to bring their love for fantastic, freshly prepared food to EVERYONE! The name NOSO (North of South) is a tribute to their beginnings in the Northernmost Country in South America!"

Food lovers flocked to the comments section to share their joy at the announcement. One fan said: “Woohoo!! congratulation guyyssss. BEST LATIN FOOD EVEEEEERRRRRRRRRRR”.

Louise commented: “This is amazing! I am literally around the corner and this is some of the best food I’ve had Tequenos are my absolute faves and the chicken wings are the best I’ve had!”

Emma said: “Oh wow - Liverpool you are about to be blessed!” Mark added: “Congrats Miguel & Jean! Much deserved. See you there soon”. NOSO will launch at Baltic Market from November 16. Baltic Market is based at 107 Stanhope St, Liverpool, L8 5RE.
