Ballymena United have announced that David Jeffrey has left the club by mutual consent.
Sunday's disappointing Irish Cup final defeat to Crusaders proved the final game for the 60-year-old.
Jeffrey was appointed Sky Blues boss in March 2016 and helped the club win its first-ever League Cup the following year.

Under his tenure Ballymena's best league finish was runners-up to Linfield in the 2018/19 season, while they also qualified for Europe twice and were beaten finalists in three Irish Cup finals.
On Sunday the Braid men crashed to a 4-0 defeat to Crusaders, a disappointing end to what had been a poor season for the Sky Blues who finished ninth in the Premiership.
The club said on Tuesday night: " Ballymena United can announce that David Jeffrey has left the club this evening by mutual consent. We thank David for his achievements at the Showgrounds during his time here, not least for our League Cup win and European forays, and express our best wishes to him for the future."
It has been a turbulent season for the Sky Blues and Jeffrey who was previously talked out of resigning by Ballymena's board following a defeat to Carrick Rangers back in September.
Speaking at the time, he said: “With the encouragement that I got from the club in general and the board, the players and staff, I will very clearly be here and will serve to such times the club decide otherwise.
“I don’t want this to become the David Jeffrey circus or some pity party because that’s not what this is about. I care far too much for this club and I was challenged ‘it may be easier David if you walked’, but not a chance in the world after this week.”
Meanwhile, Ballymena said the club will announce plans "in the near future".
They added in the statement: "We will make an announcement in the near future about the way forward for the Sky Blues."
