Two students from Loreto College, Ballarat, and a truck driver continue to receive care in hospital, almost a week after a harrowing crash involving a school bus.
Last Wednesday, a school bus transporting dozens of students and staff collided with a B-double truck on the Western Freeway near Bacchus Marsh.
The bus was travelling to Melbourne Airport, where the Loreto College Ballarat cohort was set to board a flight to the United States for a NASA space camp.
A total of 33 people were taken to various hospitals in Greater Melbourne and Ballarat following the crash.
As of Tuesday, the truck driver remains at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.
The man, who is in his 50s, is being treated for lower-body injuries.
Two teenage girls from Loreto College Ballarat, who were injured in the crash, are still at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.
The hospital confirmed each girl was in a stable condition.
In a statement published on its social media page, the school says: "All other students and staff are now recovering from home, and all are doing as well as can be expected in these circumstances."
"We continue to be grateful for all the support the Loreto community has received."
Investigation continues
Victoria Police is yet to provide any further update on its probe into the incident, which is being led by the Major Collision Investigation Unit.
Detectives continue to ask any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Meanwhile, motorists are advised the speed limit on a city-bound section of the Western Freeway at Pentland Hills continues to be reduced to 40 kph.
The eastbound Bacchus Marsh Road exit ramp remains closed, with drivers able to use the Gisborne Road exit as an alternative.
