A teenager has been arrested after being spotted driving a scrambler bike down the wrong side of the road.
The 17-year-old suspect was said to be wearing a balaclava and no helmet, at the time he was spotted by police on Monday, September 5. The red scrambler bike was spotted on High Park Street, in Toxteth, heading towards Princes Avenue.
Police then watched the bike drive onto the wrong side of the carriageway in the direction of Princes Park. The rider stalled the bike and came to a stop as police were able to detain him.

During a search, officers also found a large Rambo-style knife and cannabis. The 17-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a bladed article, dangerous driving, possession of a controlled drug, disqualified driving, drug driving and driving without insurance.
He is currently in custody. A spokesperson for the force said: "We arrested a 17 year-old male after a scrambler bike was stopped in Liverpool last night, Monday, September 5. Officers were on patrol on High Park Street in Toxteth when they spotted a scrambler bike heading towards Princes Avenue.
"The rider was wearing a balaclava and no helmet. The bike was then seen to drive onto the wrong side of the carriageway in the direction of Princes Park. As the patrol vehicles approached the junction the rider stalled the bike and officers were able to detain the rider."
