Bakery giant Greggs has lodged fresh plans for a new drive-thru in Stoke-on-Trent.
The retailer has submitted a planning application for a new branch on Springfields Retail Park, in Trent Vale, which is already home to McDonald's, Iceland and B&M.
KFC had originally planned to moved onto the site - and even secured permission from Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
But after the fast food brand pulled out, Greggs submitted a new application for a drive-thru development which would create up to 15 new jobs.
The new Greggs site would be classed as a restaurant and would operate from 6am to midnight.
The development would include measures to ensure the car park is safe for pedestrians, including a new 'revised and improved highways circulation' and the installation of a new zebra crossing.

The planning application states: "The proposed drive-thru lanes for waiting customers can accommodate a larger number of vehicles than the approved drive-thru, which has the ability to alleviate congestion."
The planning application follows the launch of a new Greggs branch inside the former Pizza Hut unit in Baths Road, Longton, earlier this year - one of 150 that Greggs plans to open in 2022.
