Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham Jr. have squashed their Browns beef

The once-promising era that included quarterback Baker Mayfield throwing to wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. quickly crumbled before the eyes of the Cleveland Browns. The era ended with the outspoken wide receiver requesting a trade, and with the Browns inevitably cutting him after his dad posted a video of a string of missed opportunities for the two to connect.

He then went on to be a crucial part of the Super Bowl run of the Los Angeles Rams. Mayfield’s time in Cleveland did not end much cleaner either, but the now quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers says there is no longer any bad blood between the two, stating, “We’re good now.”

Mayfield went on to add while appearing on The Pat McAfee Show in Norman, Oklahoma:

“That’s part of me growing as a person. I think normally I would hold a lot of grudges, but no we are good. We squashed that.”
