Prue Leith believes older women should not be scared to fall in love a second time or rock the type of bold colours that she does on TV.
The Great British Bake Off judge, 82, married her second husband John Playfair in 2016 after finding true romance again. And she says that she's not alone in doing so.
She said: "It happens a lot. I have a lot of friends who fell in love late in life. I think young people don't understand."
The chef continued: "I think they find it embarrassing like old people are not meant to do any of that.
"The funny thing is they will find that when they get older they will feel exactly the same as when they were younger."
She added: "Now when I fell in love with John it was exactly like it was when I fell in love with my first husband like you panic when you look at your phone or like 'shall I text' and all of that. And why wouldn't it be?"
Prue, who received a Damehood last year, is back on the telly with fellow judge Paul Hollywood for a celeb version of Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.
And the South African is almost as well known for her bright outfits as she is her culinary knowledge.

She said: "I want to shake women sometimes. I get letters from them saying, 'I so admire you. I used to wear great colours like you when I was young but I am over 50 now and I can’t wear red.' I say, 'Why not?' That is when you need it.
"Women think it is their duty to be invisible after they are 50 or 60 and I think that is nonsense."
Prue is also hoping to be a more visible presence in the US and she and Paul are jetting out in the autumn in a bid to crack it together.
Closer to home, she has family business to attend to.
She told the Jonathan Van Ness podcast: "I have set up a production company with my daughter which is called Relish. If that takes off that will be fantastic."
