Movie legend Tom Cruise was treated to a taste of Hollywood after a chance meeting with Bake Off star Paul.
It happened at the Dorchester hotel in London before Paul Hollywood found fame as a judge on the hit TV show Paul, who was working at the hotel at the time, recalls: “I remember Tom Cruise was in and we used to do blueberry muffins with pumpkin.
“And we’d run out of them for room service for some reason and one of the room service guys came down and said, ‘We need 12 muffins to go’.
“I went, ‘What? Why? We need to make some but we’re not making them yet’. He said, ‘No, Tom Cruise wants them’. I went, ‘What? OK!’ I said, ‘Right lads, we’ve got to make some – we need to get these out’.

“So we made these blueberry muffins for him and they were very nice.”
Tom, who filmed most of his latest Top Gun blockbuster in the UK, has a penchant for English cuisine, previously saying: “I love the fish and chips.”
Seems it was more Bake Off than Take Off for Tom.
