Fans of The Great British Bake Off were stunned to learn Noel Fielding's real age last night.
The Mighty Boosh star and his co-host Matt Lucas reminisced about the decade during Eighties week, saying the bakers had to be "over 45 to get it".
They performed a dance together and referenced '80s kids show Emu's All Live Pink Windmill, which they didn't think the younger contestants would know.
His comment sent viewers into a frenzy when they learned that Noel is 47 years old, and is actually older than Matt by one year.
One tweeted: "Yes yes Noel Fielding's a vampire lolololol but seriously how the hell is that man 47?!"
"Noel is 47?! Am I the only one who is in shock at this revelation?" another posted.
A third said: "Noel is 47! I actually had to Google that to double check!"

Last night Lottie Bedlow became the latest contestant to be eliminated.
She failed to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with her ice cream cake.
The episode was filmed on the hottest day of the year, which caused chaos in the tent.
Lottie said: "It's a massive relief but obviously I'm gutted to not be with everyone every day."
