Britain's most anticipated annual TV awards will soon be underway.
The British Academy Film Awards will look at some of the most prestigious movies, shows, and more to appear on our small screen throughout the previous year. This week will see the 69th edition of the annual awards with some of the industries most familiar faces attending in hopes of snatching an award for their work.

When do the awards take place?
The Baftas will take place at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday, May 14 at 7pm.
How to watch it on TV
Brits can tune into the awards on BBC One for their TVs or on BBC iPlayer if they prefer to watch on their phone, laptop, or tablet. The beginning of the event will start at 7pm and will finish at 9pm.
However, the red carpet event will begin much earlier at 3pm on the same day. Viewers can watch a livestream of this on Bafta's official YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook account.
Who's hosting the awards?
The awards will be hosted by comedy duo Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranaganathan. It will be the first time in three years that Richard Ayoade won't be hosting the event.
Who's performing at the awards?
Lewis Capaldi is expected to give his first televised performance of Wish You The Best at the awards. A music video for the track was recently released, starring veteran British actor and Harry Potter star David Bradley.
Emma Baehr, executive director of awards and content at Bafta, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Lewis to the Bafta stage for the first live performance of his chart-topping single. It will be a magical moment as two powerful entertainment mediums come together to create a captivating performance.
“Audiences at home and in the room will be in for a treat, and we can’t wait to end this year’s awards season in style.”
