BAFTA awards 2022: Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan stuns in Valentino gown

Nicola Coughlan has yet again been flooded with compliments after her latest public appearance.

The Derry Girls and Bridgerton star attended the 2022 BAFTA TV awards on May 8 at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

She sported a pink Valentino gown, thanking designer Pierpaolo Piccioli for one of the 'most special things she's ever worn'.

It comes after the 35-year-old attended the Met Gala in New York last week, wowing fans as she wore a statement black dress.

Posting on Instagram on Monday morning, Nicola said: "Thank you @bafta for having me present and float my illegal fight club idea. Maybe next year.

"Thank you @maisonvalentino and @pppiccioli for this beautiful haute couture gown which is one of the most special things I’ve ever worn.

"Also a huge thank you to @seacontainersldn for being the perfect place to get ready and fall asleep in after a busy day galivanting."

One user commented: "This is one of the best ever," while a second said: "Fabulous as always."

After attending last week's star-studded event in the US, Nicola said: "Good at times like this to remember I used to work in a Spar."
