Remember how cringe Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents was? Well, E4 has topped it by inviting parents to spy on their unsuspecting sprogs as they enjoy their first romantic holiday with their “bae”.
A handful of young couples, who believe they are in the perfect relationship, will be put to the test by their in-laws who will be calling the shots and setting secret challenges from behind the scenes on new show, Baewatch: Parental Guidance.

How does the show work?
Couples jet off for a romantic break in a luxury villa where they think they're taking part in a gameshow which will see them take on a series of challenges to prove how strong their relationship is.
But, unbeknownst to them, their family members are spying behind the scenes and discussing the relationship as well as setting the tasks. At the end of the holiday they give the couple the worst surprise of their life by revealing they have been awkwardly watching every moment from their holiday.
Just how cringe does it get?
Episode one follows Kayleigh and Andy, or ‘Kandy’, who think they’re the next Beyonce and Jay Z. If the nickname and Carter’s comparison wasn’t toe-curling enough, Kayleigh’s nan rifling through their luggage to find a handful of sex toys definitely is.
The couple, who have only met twice in the three months they have been together, are left red-faced on learning their relatives were spying on them kissing from behind a two-way mirror and eavesdropping on their conversations about their sex life.
