Latin music sensation Bad Bunny delighted fans with the announcement of his upcoming sixth studio album, 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos,' scheduled for release on January 5. Known for his unconventional release strategies, the Puerto Rican artist has a history of dropping albums on unexpected dates, with his debut album 'X 100PRE' arriving around Christmas in 2018 and 'El Último Tour del Mundo' near Thanksgiving in 2020.

The January 5 release date, just before 'Día de Reyes' (Three Kings Day), falls on a Sunday, deviating from the industry's standard Friday release pattern. Bad Bunny shared the exciting news on Instagram through a brief video featuring filmmaker Jacobo Morales and also treated fans to a new single titled 'PIToRRO DE COCO.'

Prior to the album announcement, Bad Bunny teased a 17-track list on social media, with each song titled 'BOMBA,' possibly a nod to the Puerto Rican musical style and dance. 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos' follows his 2023 album 'Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana' ('Nobody Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow'), which received mixed reviews for its departure from reggaeton in favor of Latin trap reminiscent of 'X 100PRE.'

2023 was a busy year for Bad Bunny, who made headlines for his vocal support of Vice President Kamala Harris following derogatory remarks made about Latinos at a Donald Trump rally. Additionally, he embarked on his 'Most Wanted Tour' across North America, earning a spot on The Associated Press' list of the best concerts of the year.
