Bachelor fans vow to boycott show after producers 'cut a key scene' from latest episode

The Bachelor fans have been left furious by the latest instalment and have threatened to boycott the show after realising an important scene had been axed.

In the latest episode of the popular ABC show, leading man Zach Shallcross was supposed to be visited by his famous uncle Patrick Warburton.

The 58-year-old actor, who played David Puddy on Seinfeld, was supposed to join his nephew as he enjoyed a group date with the women.

However, the scene was unexpectedly cut and fans aren't happy.

Explaining the axe, TV insider RealitySteve tweeted: "Tonight’s 2nd group date, where the women put on a puppet show hosted by Patrick Warburton, is completely cut from the ep. Not shown.

"They just show the after party. It’s happened b4 where a date was filmed but cut from air, but it's rare."

"Boooooo ABC sucking all the fun out," one unhappy fan replied. Another said: "Not watching this show again…"

A third agreed they wouldn't be tuning in without Patrick, tweeting: "Why??? @paddywarbucks is the only reason I would watch!"

"They cut Puddy? Big mistake," someone else warned.

Other fans speculated why they would have cut the scene, with one person suggesting: "There wasn't enough drama on the date, so they skipped to the afterparty. Too bad. The puppet show sounded entertaining."

"Cut because it’s uninteresting and juvenile," another viewer wrote.

The latest drama comes after viewers called on ABC to "cancel" the show over "cringe" and "boring" star Zach.

Zach's season is said to have had the lowest premiere ratings of all time.

Fans ripped the 26-year-old tech executive after the season 27 premiere earlier this month, despite promises this would be the "most emotional" series yet.

After Zach's arrival, viewers quickly flocked to Twitter to air their opinions, with several saying they were "so tired of this show".

"Please cancel it already," pleaded one loyal TV follower. "This man is cringe. Why do they want him," someone else asked.
