“Baby Shark”, the famous children’s song that has racked up more than three billion views on YouTube, is getting its own live tour.
Baby Shark Live will begin in October in South Carolina and wrap up the following month in Pennsylvania, according to a recent announcement.
The song, popularised by the South Korean education brand Pinkfong, tells the story of a family of sharks and comes with its own choreography, which has contributed to its viral popularity.
The live tour is described on its website as a “one-of-a-kind live experience” during which “young fans will be dancing in the aisles as Baby Shark and his friends, go on fun adventures to learn about shapes, colours, numbers and so much more”.
Each performance will last about 80 minutes, with a 20-minute intermission.
More than 30 dates have been announced across the states of South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arizona, California, Utah, Colorado, Missouri, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts.
Tickets are available for pre-sale online.
