Baby photographer gives newborns their own set of adult teeth in photos - just for fun

Babies may be tiny adults, but there are some key differences - it's what makes them so sweet.

There's the baby soft skin vs. damaged adult skin, and cute, flawless baby feet vs. gnarly adult trotters - the list goes on.

Of course, one of the biggest differences is teeth. Our fragrant bundles are born all gummy, then, eventually, subject you to weeks or months of torture as they cut their milk teeth .

But have you ever wondered what newborns would look like with a full set of chompers?

Well, wonder no more...

Amy Haehl is a  photographer from Shelbyville, Indiana who specialises in newborn baby photos.

Capturing squirmy babies who don't follow instruction is an impressive skill and, as it turns out, Haehl is also a dab hand at photoshop.

She recently shared an album of sixteen images to her Facebook page simply titled, "If babies had teeth".

"OMG guys... I decided to have some fun and give babies teeth. HAHAHAHA I haven't laughed this hard in a long time," she wrote in her post.

"I could have gone back and done this to every single baby that has ever come in my studio. Can't. Stop. Laughing. So I just thought I'd share and give you all a good laugh too!"

Haehl also pointed out that she had the prior approval of each of the babies' parents.

The doctored images have the unnerving dual effect of being both cute still, and creepy .

Fans of Haehl's page thought they were brilliant, and the album quickly attracted widespread attention.

One woman said the photos were "freaky and so cute at the same time."

"As if I needed another reason to be terrified of babies," commented another person.

We personally think they're brilliant BUT...thank goodness babies aren't born like this...
