Picking out a baby name isn't always as easy as it sounds - with some parents spending the full nine months mulling over their options. It's important to choose real world.
To help parents make this all-important decision, experts at Nameberry have been sharing the 'old money names' that could make their way up the popularity list in the coming years. An expert said: "Old money names conjure the aspirational lifestyle provided by generational wealth — elite country clubs, prep schools, and holidays. Old money names serve as connectors to past generations.
"This can be in a literal sense, through family surnames or handing down notable first names to descendants. It can also be more ephemeral, through the old money style. The old money aesthetic is less about how names sound and more about how names feel — historic, dignified, and ever-so-slightly out of touch."
