A baby has died after being taken to hospital from a house.
Merseyside Police, North West Ambulance Service and forensic officers were called to Rosslyn Street in Aigburth yesterday. The baby was taken to hospital on the evening of Sunday, March 13.
Police have confirmed that the baby died in hospital. The death is currently being treated as 'unexplained.'

The force said that an investigation into the cause of the death is being carried out. However this is a normal protocol to be carried out by police.
A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "Police are in attendance in Aigburth following the unexplained death of a baby yesterday, Sunday 13 March. Emergency services were called to an address on Rosslyn Street yesterday evening.
"The baby was taken to hospital but sadly passed away. A detailed examination of the circumstances will be carried out, as per normal police procedures."
