A baby boy was flown from Kyivl to Crumlin's Children's Hospital for urgent neonatal care last night.
The Irish Air Corps raced the little boy to the Dublin hospital with members of the HSE's Neonatal Transport Team providing medical care for the infant on the flight.
The air ambulance left Lublin in Eastern Poland and flew to Baldonnel before the patient was transferred to Crumlin's Children's Hospital.

The baby boy's mam and four siblings were also brought to Ireland where they will be assisted during this difficult time.
Irish Air Corps posted: "Late last night, 101Sqn completed a successful Neonatal air ambulance flight from Lublin in eastern Poland to Baldonnel before onward transfer to Crumlin children's hospital.
"Members of the HSE’s Neonatal Transport Team were onboard to prepare for and provided medical care to the infant patient during the flight.
"This medical journey began in a maternity hospital in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev before being positioned by road to Lublin Airport, approximately 95km from the Ukrainian border.
"The crew were also delighted to transfer the infants mother and his four young siblings to Ireland where ongoing medical treatment and support services will be provided to the family."
People took to social media to praise the Irish Air Corps, doctors and nurses for their hard work.
One person said: "An amazing service our brilliant Air Corps provides our little man was a seasoned traveller with them and we would have been lost without them best wishes to the family and speedy recovery to the little man."
Another wrote: "Always professional, always doing a great job flying the flag for the nation. I hope you get the much talked about funding to give you the tools to aid you in your endeavours. Thank you."
A third person said: "Well done to everyone involved . Wishing mum and all the children the very best for the future. Hoping the war will end soon."
