A BABY was among four people rushed to hospital after an emergency incident in Glasgow.
Police were alerted to a two-vehicle crash on Easterhouse Road in the East End at around 8.30pm on Monday, March 3.
After receiving the report of the incident, cops and paramedics raced to the scene.
Following that, one driver, a 28-year-old man, was arrested and taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other car, a woman, along with a baby and a teenager were taken to hospital as a precaution.
During the collision, Glasgow City Council revealed the busy road was shut in both directions between the M8 motorway overbridge and Aberdalgie Road.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 8.30pm on Monday, March 3, 2025, we received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on Easterhouse Road, Glasgow.
“One driver, a 28-year-old man was arrested and taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“The female driver of the other car, along with a baby and a teenager were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a precaution.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
