B&Q recalls popular products 'that could injure' and warns to 'stop use immediately'

B&Q is recalling two popular bathroom products due to a safety risk after issuing a 'do not use' warning.

The DIY retailer's Artemis and Alcudina Mirrored Bathroom Cabinets' are faulty and it says could cause major injury.

There is a concern the mirror doors may detach from the cabinet and fall off.

This could cause injuries such as lacerations, cuts and amputation, a notice from Ireland's Competition and Consumer Protection Commission warned.

The Artemis white double door mirror cabinet's barcode is 5052931138418.

The second model, the Alcudina white double door mirror cabinet's barcode is 5052931707317.

The Artemis model was on sale from October 2012 to January 2017 and the Alcudina model was on sale between August 2016 and December 2022.
