B&M shoppers have criticised one store for selling "dead" plants for 1p, with one calling it "disgraceful".
The budget giant often sells plants at their stores, but one shopper happened to notice that the rack at their local branch was looking worse for wear.
Plants that were originally priced at £6.50 were reduced to just 1p, as they looked dry and yellow.

Taking to Facebook to share the news with other customers, the shopper wrote: "B&M bargain £6.50 to 1p. I think even Jesus couldn’t resurrect these. I suppose if you’re desperate for a plant pot 1p isn’t bad."
Before long, the post had received over 6,500 'haha' reacts and nearly 2,000 comments from other Facebook users sharing their thoughts.
"I like to help plants from poorly corner but even I could not breath life into these," one shared.
A second echoed: "Even I couldn't resuscitate them. Too sad. These places shouldn't be allowed to sell plants."
A third angry user wrote: "Really annoys me when I see plants outside the shops like this. See it a lot. Such a waste."
Another argued: "Stores are run on minimal staff to save the company money. So plants often get neglected."
Meanwhile, a fifth commented: "Poor waste letting these little plants to die. Absolutely disgraceful."
"I suppose if you need a fake beard for a party they would be great," joked a sixth.
However, others said that the "dead" plants may still be brought back to life if given water, with one sharing: "The amount of half dead plants I've brought from B&M! My garden is full of them, given a good trim and plenty of water they will come back better then before!"
"You would be surprised we have had some plants from Tesco that look like they wouldn’t survive a little bit of tomato feed in the water and they come up fine it’s because they don’t water them," a second revealed.
"I've brought back "dead" plants loads of times this plant was dead to the world I brought it for 10p from my local flower shop as It was literally just a dead stalk this is it 3 years later, no idea what it is but it's survived," echoed a third.
A fourth agreed: "For 1p it's worth buying and trying,I bet they come back to life even if it's next year."
A B&M spokesperson said: "“This was an isolated incident and is not representative of the plant offer across the rest of our estate. In this instance in the Cramlington store, unfortunately, the correct process has not been followed.
"The store has now been given additional training to address any gaps and to ensure this won’t happen again in future”.
