Shoppers have been left shocked after B&M announced the early sale of an Easter-themed confectionary.
Posting on social media, the store announced that it has begun selling Cadbury white Creme Eggs for 49p each - even though Easter is not until April 9.
The new item divided shoppers on Instagram with some saying it's too early to be on shelves while others said they can't wait to get their hands on the new chocolate.
Announcing the product on social media, B&M posted: Do we need to say anything in stores?

"Probably yes - Cadbury WHITE Creme Egg, in-stores now - in December - for 49p each!"
lisa.evans15 on Instagram commented: "This is wrong way too early" While user chrissyj37 said: "It's sad to say you can't even let people enjoy their Christmas before your trying to ram easter down their throat!! Fortuantely they'll all be gone before I buy one."
A third user added: "No! No! No! It;s still Christmas! At least wait until the 12 days are over" While lisahalcombe said: " Too early. Easter not until April."
And user machinzoe said: "SO WRONG ON ALL LEVELS".
Others can't wait to try it with mrsclarkescleaning's writing: "I'm on my way" and sarahs_sw_diary adding: "Love them".
B&M is not the only supermarket to be spotted selling Easter products before the New Year has come. On Boxing Day, many shoppers at Tesco, Morrisons, and Co-op were shocked to see shelves packed with Easter eggs.
