B&M shoppers praise return of iconic discontinued Cadbury's chocolate bar

B&M shoppers have rushed to praise a chocolate bar sold at the retailer that was a classic favourite for kids who grew up in the 2000s.

One shopper noticed that the budget giant now sells Cadbury Dream chocolate bars for £1.99. The 180g bars consist of "smooth and creamy white chocolate".

Many will remember the early 2000s, when Dream bars were at the height of their popularity and could be purchased in convenience stores and supermarkets around the country. They were even included in the Cadbury Heroes selection boxes and tubs for a short time.

However, a few years later they were taken off shelves across the UK. While it is still manufactured in Australia and South Africa, shipping costs make purchasing the treat a costly investment.

Fans of the creamy white chocolate will therefore be pleased that after more than a decade they can purchase the bars once again here in the UK.

The keen-eyed shopper who spotted the bars at their local B&M was quick to share the news with others on Facebook. Writing on the Food Finds UK group, they simply said: "B&M £1.99."

Before long, the post had received dozens of likes and comments. B&M shoppers and Dream fans alike shared their thoughts on the comeback.

One wrote: "These were my fave."

"Yessssss mate," posted a second after being tagged by a fellow user.

A third revealed: "Think I may need a trip to B&M."

However, not everyone was so happy to see the iconic noughties chocolate make a comeback, with one commenting: "Overrated."
