B&M shoppers in love with 'quirky' and 'affordable' retro lamps

B&M shoppers have fallen head over heels for a range of retro lava lamps after spotting them online.

Budget favourite B&M boasts a loyal fan base, thanks to its wide array of food, cleaning products, homeware accessories, decorating supplies and more. Like many brands, the company, which was founded in 1978, utilises social media to keep fans updated on all the newest stock and product launches.

Retro products are consistently popular among shoppers, and B&M caused much excitement after unveiling its line-up of lava lamps. The lava lamp was invented in 1963 and quickly became associated with hippie culture, though it wasn't too long before they transcended this to become more mainstream.

Now, B&M has launched a wide range of lava lamps, in a variety of colours and styles. Sharing a photo of the range to its 1.4 million followers, the retailer penned: "Greetings, Gifters! Give a gift of LIGHT and pick from our range of quirky light up lamps. There are so many affordable fun light up gifts for Christmas and beyond - you'll be spoilt for choice. LIKE if you're a lava lamp fan!"

The products proved popular on the hit social media platform, racking up more than 1,000 likes in less than 24 hours. Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.

Happy customer Christine said: "Got my daughter the purple and pink rocket lava one its so cosy she loves it". Nikki said: "Ooh love lava lamps". Heidi commented: "Love them".

Kay tagged a friend and said: "this is fantastic for me". Hannah said: "what a throwback". Danielle told a friend: "guess where I'm off tomorrow.."
