B&M dog garden ornament makes shoppers chuckle - for all the wrong reasons

Let's be honest, us Brits love a snigger at things that look rude when they weren't intended to be. And a somewhat naughty looking ornament spotted by a shopper in B&M has had that exact effect.

The garden dog statue is supposed to be completely innocent, but those that have seen it say they can't "unsee" it's awkwardly placed feature. The source of the amusement is the siting of the light bulb that comes as part of the package, so to speak.

Eagle-eyed Claire O'Donohoe was doing a spot of shopping in B&M where she first came across the dog ornament with a bulb attached, reports the Daily Star. Along with a snap posted to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, the bargain shopper shared: “My eyes, my eyes. I can't unsee what I saw. Thanks B&M.”

Claire is not the only one to notice the cheeky feature, as many other Facebook users fled to the comments to share their thoughts.

One person giggled: “Rather bulbous puppy.”

Another user quipped: “At least you will know when he's turned on."

A third person voiced: “You know I never saw them that way but every time I see them now I will.”

Someone else shared: “Why would dogs be holding a light bulb what are they thinking?”

Meanwhile, a fifth person chuckled: “Big bulb you have…”
