Retailer B&M has confirmed an opening date for its huge new store at the Castle Marina Retail Park in Nottingham.
On the company's website, the retailer said that the new store was due open on Wednesday, April 13.
It replaces Ultimate Outdoors, which shut after holding a closing down sale in January.
The new store is referred to as a 'B&M Home Store with Garden Centre' on the company's site.
It will sell items including alcohol, laminate flooring, paint, vinyl flooring and wallpaper.
A spokesperson for B&M had previously told Nottinghamshire Live that the company was always looking for new locations, but they could not confirm whether there were plans to open at the former Ultimate Outdoors site.
Previously a B&M member of staff, who wished to remain anonymous, shared a poster about the staff vacancies for the new store at Castle Marina.
These vacancies included a customer services manager, shop floor assistant and customer service supervisor.
The retail park also hosts well known brands like DFS, Curry's PC World and Pets and Home.
