B&M and The Range both selling Tiki Bars to rival the hanging egg chair trend this summer

With the promise of warmer weather looming on the horizon, many of us will be wanting to enjoy the sun as much as we can without going abroad.

And if you were not quick enough to snap up one of those viral hanging egg chairs, then B&M and The Range have the next best thing - a Tiki Bar.

The popular high-street retailers have become popular with shoppers for their range of summer garden furniture essentials for much less and the tropical bar looks like another hit.

With their straw roofs, rattan style effect and matching stools, the tropical inspired bars are the next best thing for enjoying the sunshine with a cocktail.

If hanging egg chairs were last summer's biggest trend, then the Tiki Bar looks to be the 'in-thing' for this year as multiple retailers have began selling their own versions for shoppers to make their own bar from home.

B&M was the first to jump on the new holiday-inspired trend, when it shared a snap of its Paradise Tiki Bar to its Instagram page last week.

They captioned the snap: "With the weather finally starting to get brighter, it's a perfect time to snap up this Island Paradise Tiki Bar!

"This 3 piece bar set is a real statement piece, and helps bring that beach vibe to your back garden. Who fancies sipping a cocktail or two here?"

The listing on its website prices the bar at £300, and details the dimensions of the table as 118cm by 75cm by 215cm. One B&M fan, tagging her friends, wrote: "Can’t wait to go to a party at this bar."

The Range is also offering their own Marbella Bar Set that is currently priced at £319.99, reports Berkshire Live.

In an Instagram post, the retailer said: "This bar set has been designed to be compact, helping you to create a fun feature regardless of the size of your garden. Easy to assemble too, it will have you outdoors and having fun at your garden party, barbecue, or just on sunny afternoons."

"Hands up if I buy this for the summer for our bbq girls day", one Instagram user commented as she tagged her friends.

Argos is also selling a Habitat Tiki bar, with bamboo-style detailing instead of a rattan effect, priced at £500. According to the listing, the retailer is currently offering 20 per cent off with a code.
