A sex beast who preyed on two teenage boys at locations across Ayrshire has been caged for 12 years.
Scott Faulkner was jailed at the High Court in Glasgow today (Wednesday). The 34-year-old from Cumnock had previously been convicted after a trial in Edinburgh of six charges.
Despite the charges, Faulkner has shown "no remorse" as the court heard he denied his guilt.
Faulkner was first found guilty of the abduction and rape of a boy who was aged between 13 and 17 when he was abused.
The charges listed a number of locations in Ayrshire including Cumnock, Auchinleck, Ayr and Stevenston, as well as in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
He further breached bail by flouting an order not to have unsupervised contact with any youngster under 16.
The charges spanned between 2010 and 2021.
Faulkner communicated inappropriately via Snapchat and Facebook with this victim and another teenage boy. Jurors heard Faulkner also had indecent images of children.
Sentencing, Lord Armstrong told Faulkner: "The [pre-sentencing] report indicates that you continue to deny responsibility for your actions. It is noted you have shown no remorse in that regard.
"You are assessed as presenting a high risk of sexual re-offending. I am satisfied that there is no alternative to a custodial sentence."
Faulkner was put on the sex offenders list indefinitely
Gareth Jones KC, defending, earlier told the sentencing hearing: "He has no previous convictions. His position remains one of denial."
