Ayrshire restaurant brings back popular takeaway service for summer

An Ayrshire restaurant has re-launched its popular takeaway service over the summer.

From the fresh wood-fired pizzas to the special seafood on offer, Lido in Troon has proved to be a massive hit with foodies in Ayrshire and beyond.

The Buzzworks venue first launched the takeaway offering while restaurants were closed during lockdown in the summer of 2020.

Now the service is back up and running this summer with punters able to take away a host of the venue's favourite dishes.

The post on Lido's Facebook page reads: "Big news - Lido to Go is back! We are all fired up and ready to make this summer even more special with the relaunch of our legendary Lido to Go takeaway selection.

"When it comes to doing things al fresco, there’s no topping our wood-fired pizzas, made fresh to order. From the hand-stretched sourdough bases and the finest San Marzano tomatoes, these are the real deal.

"If seafood is the order of the day, then our King Prawn Tempura is a must-try, while a tub of Vanilla Joe’s tablet ice cream will keep things nice and cool even in the mighty Scottish sunshine.

"Perfect for a working lunch, dish-free dinner at home or a picnic at the beach with friends!"
