Logan Chalmers reckons Ayr United have what it takes to go all the way in their bid for the Premiership.
The Honest Men went top of the Championship on Tuesday night with Chalmers playing a starring role against Partick Thistle.
He scored one and made another as United stuck four past the Jags.
And the winger, on loan from Dundee United, believes Ayr have the quality within their ranks to sustain a title challenge at Somerset Park.
He said: "You saw with the way we played against Thistle that we can really have a go in this league.
"There are maybe five clubs who think they're in with a real chance of going up to the Premiership next season and that's what makes the Championship so exciting and enjoyable.
"Coming here has been great for me. I've been getting a lot of game time and my goals and assists have been good as well.
"I think that the way the team plays really suits me as well. The manager likes to set up in an attacking style and we always look to play good football.
"We just have to take one game at a time and keep going but we know we can cause anyone problems."
