Lee Bullen wants Somerset Park rocking tonight as his table-toppers go under the Friday night lights.
United will take on title favourites Dundee in front of the BBC Scotland cameras.
And boss Bullen says a bouncing atmosphere can help his team ride their early wave of momentum.
He told the Ayrshire Post: “We remember well that special atmosphere against Partick on the final night of last season.
“When Somerset is like that, there is no better place to be watching your football.
“We’re playing well and feel like we can score goals every time we go forward.
“The fans are playing their part in lifting the boys and there’s a real sense of togetherness that we’re all feeding off.”
United hit the league summit with Saturday’s dominant win at Cove – the home side’s first league defeat on their own patch in 15 months.
Bullen added: “We always had a belief in the group that things would come right.
“Sure, our League Cup results were disappointing, but we remained calm and looked at the facts of how we were actually playing.
“There was a lot of good stuff going on and that was always going to be rewarded.
“But we’re only four games into a season that will have plenty of ups and downs – so the key is keeping that composure.
“Dundee are many people’s favourites to win the league so they’re not coming down here to roll over for us.
“That’s why we have to approach each game on its merits and we’ll see where it takes us.”
Goalie Aidan McAdams is nursing a shoulder injury which is likely to keep him out for the next few weeks.
Rangers youth keeper Jack McConnell signed an emergency seven-day loan to sit on the bench at Cove.
Ayr have extended the deal by another seven days with the 18-year-old set to deputise on the bench again tonight.
Jayden Mitchell-Lawson (groin), Daire O'Connor (ankle) and Fraser Bryden (knee) are all being monitored for knocks.
