Ayo Dosunmu is quietly becoming a star for the Chicago Bulls

The rise of Chicago Bulls reserve guard Ayo Dosunmu would not have come without the injuries to the starting Bulls backcourt of Lonzo Ball and Zach LaVine. One of the few silver linings of Chicago’s seemingly cursed 2023-24 campaign, Dosunmu is truly coming into his own as an NBA guard.

While it might be too soon to call the Illinois alum a star in the league, he is certainly a star for the Bulls’ roster, joining fellow backup guard Coby White as found money in the face of adversity. Whether Chicago’s front office looks to build around him and White or uses one or both’s contracts as trade assets to land a mega-star, the future of the Bulls is looking a lot brighter than many thought it might.

The hosts of the “CHGO Bulls” podcast recently took a moment to laud Dosunmu’s play with Chicago this season.

Check out the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
