Ayling impresses, Wober stands out, Gnonto dazzles - give us your Leeds United player ratings

Leeds United recorded their first points at Old Trafford since 2001 as Manchester United came from two goals behind to draw 2-2 on Wednesday evening.

Wilfried Gnonto opened the scoring within 56 seconds when Pascal Struijk stole the ball from Bruno Fernandes on the right touchline. Gnonto picked up the loose ball and drilled a low strike beyond the reach of David De Gea at his near post.

Manchester United responded. Max Wober headed Alejandro Garnacho's shot off the line, while Illan Meslier was forced to sprawl to his right to claw Marcel Sabitzer's goal-bound effort behind.

But Leeds' energy under caretaker boss Michael Skubala continued to cause problems for the lacklustre hosts, and the Whites doubled their advantage after the break, when Raphael Varane inadvertently diverted Crysencio Summerville's low cross into his own net.

Erik ten Hag introduced Facundo Pellistri and Jadon Sancho, and chose Marcus Rashford to lead the line. His changes made an immediate impact with Pellistri teeing up a cross for Diogo Dalot, which was headed home by Rashford.

Brenden Aaronson's bending free-kick kissed the post as Leeds threatened to restore their two-goal cushion, but Sancho marked his appearance from the bench with the equaliser.

Luke Shaw's low cross deflected into the path of Sancho and Meslier was unable to thwart his finish which went through bodies and into the far corner.

Varane had a late header palmed behind by Meslier but Leeds held on to secure a valuable draw, which sends them one-point clear of the relegation zone.
