However, the trip took a tense turn when the Curry family had an emotional encounter with the Parisian police. Following Team USA's victory against France, the family faced difficulties returning to their vehicle due to a police blockade set up for President Emmanuel Macron's security. A video circulating online showed Ayesha wiping tears while holding her newborn son, as her mother-in-law engaged with the officers to resolve the situation.
Despite the challenging situation, the Curry family did not publicly address the incident. The family, including Ayesha and Stephen Curry, who have been married since 2011, have four children together. In addition to their sons, they have two daughters, Riley and Ryan.
