Ayesha Curry has rewritten a common spring cleaning misconception – her 'little by little' organization method will bring order to the most chaotic homes

It seems that not even celebrities are immune from spring cleaning chores, but in some cases, they actually enjoy the process. Ayesha Curry is one such figure who has streamlined her spring-cleaning ritual – and, thankfully, she's decided not to gatekeep her method. Her first step involves debunking a common mistake you may be making when working through your spring cleaning checklist.

'It’s totally a misconception that you have to go buck wild! It can feel daunting when people pull everything out to organize at once, thinking they can get it done in a full day or two,' Ayesha shared exclusively with Homes & Gardens. So what should we do instead?

'Choosing small tasks and cleaning little by little is key. I like to take a week or two to finish all my spring cleaning by assigning one area or project per day, even if it’s just a junk drawer. Little by little is the motto to not get overwhelmed by multiple tasks at once.'

As many of us find, however, Ayesha admits that spring cleaning, or organizing in general, comes with its challenges. In the Curry household, she finds her bathroom the hardest to maintain. However, her solution for making it easier comes courtesy of Command – and is as currently under $10 at Walmart.

'I am a beauty product junkie – I love skincare, accessories, all the things. No matter how hard I try to put things away and keep them organized, somehow, they always end up back on the counter. I have six different Command hooks in my bathroom right now for all my needs to keep everything in place. I have one for my robes, one for towels, one for my necklaces,' Ayesha says.

'Wherever I can use a Command Hook to hang my items up, I use it. That’s how I keep some semblance of functionality, but it is one I still struggle with for sure.'

'I feel like I’m not the most practical or logical person in general, but that’s why working with Command Brand is so exciting,' Ayesha says with a laugh.

'I’ve learned so much about their new products, uses, and what they have in the pipeline. This past holiday season, they had a collection of hooks in gorgeous, rich colors, like Mulled Wine. Knowing there are products that match my walls and the aesthetics of my home but are also functional is how I win at home.' It's an accessible way to organize your home like the Curry's, which, to us, is a win-win.
