Viewers were left cringing during the latest episode of Come Dine With Me: The Professionals when one of the contestants said the way one of his rivals placed her knife and fork on her plate would "bother" him if it happened in his restaurant.
The show on Tuesday, July 11 saw three culinary teams from West Yorkshire - Richard and John from The Quarry, Winston and Kenny from Japanese street food restaurant Bento and mother and daughter Tammy and Holly from the West End House pub - go head-to-head to be in with a chance to win £1000, gaining points for their respective three course meals.
However, while the food was discussed between the three groups at each establishment and a ghost hunt at The Quarry and karaoke at Bento was experienced, it wasn't the gorgeous meal presented by Winston and Kenny that was the main topic of conversation at street food joint Bento.

In an awkward moment during the Channel 4 episode, The Quarry's front of house manager Richard revealed his "pet peeve" when it comes to tables manners - something noticed in West End House contestant Holly.
Addressing his fellow cooking whizzes, Richard said: "Do you know what really, really winds me up at our restaurant, certainly, is parents that haven't taught their children how to hold their knife and fork."
Looking towards her daughter, Tammy chimed in: "What about how Holly's left her knife and fork, like crossed instead of... ? It must be really annoying." "That, it would bother me," says Richard. "I don't want to be rude."
"So what you're saying is I haven't brought her up properly?" Tammy said, laughing. "Sort it out, Holly," Richard joked, with a chuckle.
After the meal, when the contestants commentated on the dinner away from their rivals, Holly said to the camera: "I definitely will be thinking about that every time I go somewhere to eat and just see how it offends everyone else."
Richard also said as a side note: "Twenty-years old, she should know how to place knife and fork after she's eaten, you know? We're not sat in a cafe on the M62."
In the end, when it came down to the food, both the people behind Bento and The Quarry were crowned the winners, being awarded joint first place.
