An award winning patisserie café has hit the market after opening earlier in 2022.
The Broken Clock cafe first made an impression on Edinburgh locals when they served in Bonnie and Wild in the St James Quarter for 12 months before opening a store in the city centre in August 2022.
Now the popular cafe is up for sale after the former Greggs underwent a huge refurbishment project to give Edinburgh the 'full Broken Clock experience'. With a kitchen, seating space and preparation area, it is on the market for a leasehold of £39,995.

Offered on leasehold basis with eight years left on the lease, the new owners could make the most of the popular eatery that boasts of having high footfall from locals and visitors. The advert on Right Biz also adds that there is potential to expand the business with outside catering and a delivery service.
Situated on Broughton Street, the bright blue cafe it is in the heart of the bustling city centre with Leith down the walk and the Edinburgh Playhouse just round the corner.
The Broken Clock Café described themselves as “a combination of traditional and experimental patisseries. Outstanding looking cakes made with the high-end ingredients, latest technology and crazy ideas.”
This attitude towards baking won the café “Out of Home Business of the Year” at the Baking Industry Awards in 2020. Their offerings include an eclectic mix of savoury and sweet options including classics like Paris-Brest to the more unusual Ruby and Lychee Cake.
