A vegan burger served up at the Aviva Stadium during Ireland's friendly match against Belgium has gone viral online for all the wrong reasons.
'Footy Scran', a Twitter account with almost 340,000 followers, has recently taken off by posting pictures sent in from football fans of food and drink offerings in various football stadiums.
The account began with a focus up and down the U.K, but has since expanded its scope further into other countries - and the Aviva Stadium did not get away lightly.
And while Ireland impressed on the pitch with a 2-2 draw against World No. 1 side Belgium, the food on offer clearly left a lot to be desired - especially for those on the hunt for vegan options.
The Footy Scran Twitter account posted a picture of a small, forlorn looking vegan burger patty sitting on a dry burger bun.
The account also included the price of the burger - an eye-watering €8.
The tweet read: "Veggie burger at Ireland v Belgium. €8."
And responders on Twitter took a dim view of the burger.
One said: "Looks dreadful, certainly not the 'luck of the Irish' with this."
While another pointed out the challenges being a vegan brings.
They said: "Being a vegetarian is often both insulting and hilarious."
Another commenter summed up the situation in a distinctly Irish way.
They simply said: "Ah stop."
