Avril Lavigne has stepped up her romance with Tyga as they packed in the PDA in Paris.
The move has reportedly left her ex fiance Mod Sun 'devastated' — particularly as the French capital is the place of his proposal less than a year ago.
The pair were spotted sharing a kiss outside Mugler X Hunter Schafer party on Monday, and have continued to parade their relationship in public — taking front row seats no less —at Y/Project Fall 2023 RTW fashion show.
The break up has been a bitter pill for Mod Sun to swallow as a source close to him told TMZ he was gutted she had moved in so quickly — and so publicly.
The publication was the first to break the news that Avril had ended their relationship just days after the artist kicked off his tour to promo his "God Save The Teen" album.
A source told People the couple had been 'on and off again' but Mod still feels 'blindsided' by the break up.
The singer previously posted on Instagram : "In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken."
"Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage."
Meanwhile Avril attended Leonardo Di Caprio's party with Tyga as both dressed head to toe in black last Wednesday.
The Complicated hit-maker was previously married to Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2009 and Chad Kroeger from 2013 to 2015.
Lavigne met her recent ex Mod Sun (real name is Derek Smith) when they worked together on her album Love Sux in January 2021.
They got engaged in a romantic Paris proposal last April with the singer, featuring a track titled "Avril's Song" featuring lyrics "dark and sweet at the same time," as a "a total metaphor" for their relationship.
Mod Sun told E! at the time: "I have found such a partner in this world to go through the chaos that life gives you.
"I have found that person. I'm with a real grown woman who has gone through it all 10 times over and she makes me a better person."
But Mod Sun is said to have thrown himself completely in his tour to cope with his heart ache and has the support of his bandmates behind him.
