
Authorities in Sri Lanka conducted autopsies on Monday following the deaths of two foreign tourists earlier this month. The tragic incident occurred when the two women fell ill with vomiting at the hostel they were staying in and were subsequently hospitalized on February 1st. The deceased individuals were identified as a 24-year-old U.K. citizen and a 26-year-old German national. Additionally, a 30-year-old German man is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.



At present, police have not provided specific reasons for the deaths of the two tourists. They have indicated that the results of the autopsies will be disclosed following the completion of laboratory tests. The authorities are diligently working to ascertain the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event and are committed to providing clarity on the matter.
