Author Cathy Kelly has confirmed she has found love again after splitting from her husband John Sheehan.
The 55-year-old announced she had split with the former Sony Records boss during the Covid lockdown after the pair married in 2010. The couple share twin boys, Murray and Dylan, together.
But now Cathy has revealed she is loved up once again with long-time pal and equity analyst, PJ Davis, who she described as “a complete angel”.

The former Dancing With The Star contestant said: “I have found love again which is completely wonderful. A lovely man called PJ Davis and he is a complete angel.
“I think when your marriage breaks up, you’re not looking. You’re not going, ‘Jeeny mac, where will I go now’,” she told Miriam O’Callaghan on her Sunday With Miriam RTE Radio 1 show.
“You’re too busy minding your children and making sure they’re ok and they can get through it because death, divorce and moving houses is extremely traumatic.”
Cathy said her new relationship with PJ came as “just chance.”
“A dear friend of mine whose daughter was a friend of the boys, and we were interested in books, and we used to have coffee and talk about books – it always comes back to books,” she laughed.
And the loved-up couple have already gone away on holiday together – enjoying a romantic canal break in France.
“We went on a canal holiday. It was lovely. But we got Covid. But apart from that it was grand,” she said laughing.
“It was fabulous fun. It was great fun,” she added.
Cathy - who has released her new book The Wedding Party - recently opened up about her split with John, saying it was “no body’s fault.”
She said at the time: “It was no one’s fault.
“People change and life changes us and we move on. It can be very brave to go, ‘You know it’s better to end this and be happy than… you know.
“That’s not a full sentence, is it? John and I had been together for a huge part of my life. I met him when I was about 29 or 30 and now I’m 55.
“I’m a totally different person from how I was back then.
“That is the nature of human beings and relationships.
“And I don’t believe in carrying regret. We were meant to meet, have those beautiful children and now we are on another chapter of our lives.
“God that sounds very bookish, but you know what I mean. I try not to live my life in the past."
