A preference for personalisation
Just as Instagram and TikTok is full of flashy, pristine homes and kitchens kitted out with all the latest and greatest appliances, Australians also want to show off their homes. Smart appliances are about personalisation and having your home, your way.

Another great feature of the Samsung SmartThings app is that you can monitor the energy consumption of all your connected SmartThings compatible appliances – fridge, washing machine, air-conditioning, vacuum etc. – individually8. When every dollar counts, it’s handy to be able to monitor energy usage at such a micro level. You can even set your appliances individual energy goals to meet over time.
