Over 1 million tennis fans attended the 2025 Australian Open. Despite the distance, NFL and entertainment VIPs were among them. Some may surprise you.
1. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals QB
While Joe Burrow would much rather be competing in the AFC Championship this weekend, his Bengals came up short in the regular season, missing the playoffs.
As a result, Burrow had free time on his hands and used it to travel Down Under to see the Australian Open live. He appeared to enjoy his time in Melbourne and may be back unless his Bengals are otherwise engaged.

2. Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys LB
Micah Parsons, the star of the Cowboys’ defense, did more than watch tennis. He got behind the scenes and spent time with Ben Shelton. Parsons was overheard trying to convince Shelton that he needs to be a Cowboys fan.
Like Burrow, Parsons would much rather be playing in the NFC Championship, but he is making the best of his situation with a trip to Melbourne during the Australian summer.

Supermodel Tyra Banks showed she still knew how to work a runway as she walked down the tunnel at Rod Laver Arena.

5. Liam Hemsworth
Actor and native Australian Liam Hemsworth also watched tennis in a seat very close to Jackie Chan.

6. Bear Grylls
British adventure star Bear Grylls also was spotted in the stands. Is he attempting to recruit a tennis player for one of his next television adventure programs?

Who can blame these people for taking in top notch tennis at one of the most beautiful places in the world? All of us would do the same if we could.
