Sydney-based PR guru and talent expert Jai Evans has died age 43, according to reports.
The 43-year-old Aussie entertainment industry icon passed away from unknown causes on Sunday, the Daily Mail reports. His body was found in his Sydney apartment earlier this week.
Police are not treating his death as suspicious, with the Daily Telegraph reporting that police said there were “no apparent suspicious circumstances”.
Bondi fitness entrepreneur Dan Wootton shared a statement about the death of Evans, where he remembered him as a “beautiful friend”.
“Your vibrant energy and eagerness to help was second to none. Rest easy, Jai. Love you, mate,” Wootton wrote, as per Daily Mail.
Fellow PR guru Roxy Jacenko also said she was “Terribly sad to hear of the passing of Jai,” reported the Daily Telegraph.
Jai Evans had 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry in Australia, and was known for being an all-round public relations expert who had worked as an advertising manager, publicist, publisher, and editor.
The renowned publicist founded his own business in 2005 at the age of 24, Evans Media.
He and his business worked with countless high-profile Australian clients, from Married At First Sight stars, to big name media companies like Nine, Sky News, and Vogue.
Jai Evans had also briefly taken an interest in acting, appearing in an episode of Home and Away in 1997.
